They can be as simple or as elaborate as you want. People want to host a party for their friends anyway, so they take advantage of hosting a solar party. Touchdown Solar is there with you to present and answer any questions while you bank referral compensation that could be quite beneficial.
Once we have installed solar panels on your home and you have received PTO from the utility company it is time to invite your friends to a solar party.
Touchdown Solar will contribute money to the party. There must be a minimum of ten party goers that understand there will be a time set aside to talk about going solar.
The objective is to get your friends, family, and neighbors to sign a solar contract. This qualifies you for a money referral fee per contract signing that leads to PTO.
Once your referral receives PTO from the utility company you will receive a check from Touchdown Solar. A Solar Party is beneficial for all involved.
More people are spreading the word about hosting a solar party with Touchdown Solar and having fun while earning money at the same time.
Gather your utility bill information and contact Touchdown Solar. We will do an analysis for you to see if going solar makes sense for your situation.
Once you sign your own contract and receive PTO from the utility company you can start sending out invitations to your fist solar party.
Touchdown Solar will contribute to the party at our discretion. Each situation is different. Contact us before you plan. Solar Parties are becoming the new big thing.
This is an opportunity for people to get in on the big deal that is staring us in the face. However, this window of opportunity for a homeowner will not be there forever. It is not every day that you get the opportunity to capitalize on an energy source for no money down, in most cases, and make referral money to boot. But like many, not everybody will capitalize. This is your chance to help Mother Earth in a big way and get paid for it. And you can do it while partying. What a deal!
There are benefits from operating solar parties as a business. You must consult your tax advisor for more information therein. The IRS states that "If you earn $600 or more as a self-employed or independent subcontractor for a business from any one source, the payer of that income must issue you a Form 1099 MISC detailing exactly what you were paid. You then claim this income as self-employment income and offset the income with any expenses you incurred related to producing that income. Both the income and expenses are accounted for on your Schedule C, included with your federal income tax form. Sometimes clients may neglect to send you a Form 1099, however, you are still responsible for paying the taxes on these earnings."
The financial objective of a solar party is to secure contracts that lead to PTO. Therefore, we will determine our willingness to participate in a Solar Party at our discretion. We must feel that the situation being presented has the opportunity to accomplish our social and financial objectives.
